How does scheduling work?Scheduling is done a week in advance. All volunteers are asked to communicate their availability to our volunteer coordinator by the Wednesday before each week. Volunteers are then scheduled according to store needs. Although we work hard to accommodate all volunteer scheduling needs, scheduling is done on a first-come, first serve basis. Volunteers typically work 2-4 hour shifts during store hours, however, exceptions can be made with staff approval.
